Doctors are thick as shit. I am not a doctor, always do your own research. This website is opinion not advice, and for educational purposes only. Please speak to your healthcare professional, who has gaslit you, by telling you there’s nothing wrong with you and you’ve simply got psychological problems.

FAQs

How do I handle the doctors?

You have to provide evidence to lead them in the direction you need to go. Arguing with them is pointless, best off being polite and realising they’re thick as shit and mostly useless. Understand the rules of the game, don’t hate the player, hate the game. Approach all problems with out of the box thinking.

When I start a herb, how should I do it?

Always start on a tiny dose and build up slowly over a week or more. For example, if it’s 2ml you’re dosed to take, start at 5 drops and increase daily. If you have a negative reaction, low the dose, wait for this reaction to calm down, then start increasing again.

What’s the difference between Artemesia and Artemesinin?

Artemesia you generally can take daily, it’s the whole herb effectively. Artemesinin is the strong isolated compound within the Artemesia herb. This can cause liver issues, therefore doctors recommend 3 days on, 10 days off. Dr Henry Linder and other babesia doctors recommend 500mg three times daily when taking. Researched Nutritionals sell their Artemesinin SOLO product for this. Supreme Nutrition and others sell the whole herb Artemesia.

Who are the primary European Lyme doctors?

Dr John (Jack) Lambert. He splits his time between Edinburgh and Dublin.

Dr Carsten Nicolaus in Germany. He also does some work from London.

Dr Jan-Olaf Reinhardt in Germany

Tincture vs pills?

Tincture seems strong and more standardized, and given that most testing and practitioners use tincture you have a better idea of the correct dose to take, as opposed to herbal powdered extracts.

I feel like killing myself, is this normal?

Yes

I have money, is there anywhere I can simply go to solve this problem in one hit?

No

Herbs vs antibiotics

Dr Marty Ross states that:

Babesia: Herbs work 80% of the time and antibiotics 85%

Bartonella: Herbs work 75% of the time and antibiotics 85%

Borellia: Herbs work equally as good as antibiotics

The other obvious point is that antibiotics can restore health quicker than herbs, however there’s always a trade off.

How long does treatment typically take?

Borellia: 1 to 2 years

Bartonella: 6 months

Babesia: 6 months

Note these are DrMarty Ross guidelines, not a given, just typically

Contraindications
  • Do not take methylene blue with SSRIs
  • Always get a G6PD test prior to starting methylene Blue, Tafenoquine or dapsone

Do not take grapefruit seed extract with SSRIs, or be cautious about timing at least

  • Most Lyme doctors say avoid CoenzymeQ10 with Malarone (atovoquone), however Dr Henry Linder says it’s not necessary
  • Do not mix doxycycline with Valtrex
  • Do not buy amazon style methylene blue, get it from a reputable source pharmaceutical grade
  • Lithium reacts with SSRIs
I have EBV and confections also what do I do with them?

Nothing, what’s the point. Focus on the primary issues at hand and downstream these more minor issues will normally resolve themselves. Most of the herbs for Lyme etc will treat confections at the same time. Target the big hitters first and likely they’ll reduce the overall burden making others less of a problem.

Are doctors really that thick?

They know absolutely nothing, can’t cure flu, cancer, they know zero about bacteria or parasites. If you’re an intelligent person, you are more qualified than a doctor to decide how you proceed with your health. They’re only useful for acute issues, like a heart attack.

I have Lyme, what about my child?

Dr Marty Ross provides this article is regarding children, it’s fairly pragmatic. I’m confident I have had one one of these β€œBs” (Borellia, Bartonella, Babesia) prior to my son being born. I’ll be sending bloods off to see if he has anything, then focusing on his mother. He isn’t showing any clear symptoms, however he is just mildly ADHD, the only other things are that his Iron was not low but within range low and he used to complain of stomach ache sometimes (known Lyme issues). That said, he had a stomach operation at birth so perhaps means nothing and stomach obviously can be caused by 1,000 different things. I believe Marty Ross is stating that you should not treat your child unless they are showing a reasonable level of symptoms, else you risk the genie coming out of the bottle.

Testing was negative, but I’m convinced I have Lyme

Intuition is powerful. Most likely if you’ve ruled out critical health issues, you’ve got one of these bacterial or parasite infections. If your intuition is telling you, lead with it because no one else is going to help you. Do not trust your doctor, any doctor, they’re thick.

How did I get this illness?

Lyme Borellia: Being an active outdoors person, possibly from birth, mosquito or ticks, and at birth.

Bartonella: Cats, dogs, birth, mosquitos or ticks

Babesia: Birth, Mosquitos and ticks

Can high dose vitamin C be used to treat babesia?

Yes, and I believe this helped heavily in my initial recovery, before going rapidly downhill again. However, vitamin C is known to reduce copper and ceruloplasmin levels, I became deficient in both, thus causing me two more problems so I had to stop. If you do, monitor copper & ceruloplasmin levels.

My doctor is advising I start SSRI for depression or nerve pain, what should I do?

Before starting anything, remember doctors do not care about you and they will never explain the risks of SSRIs and withdrawal effects. Please read this document that explains everything fully. Personally, I would not take these drugs for nerve pain, I’d rather have nerve pain. Getting off them is easier said than done for two reasons. Firstly the time it takes to come off the drug safely, secondly because with Lyme illnesses you need consistency to know what change impacts what and that is complicated but important. The withdrawal time impacts Lyme recovery due to creating a more unstable health pattern during withdrawal. I’m still on duloxetine and trying to come off. Perhaps if you’re having severe psychological issues due to the Lyme or bartonella, it may be worth the tradeoff. Do not blindly take anything and try it avoid prescription drugs unless they’re absolutely necessary. They could help, but equally make things worse for you.

What dose of Research Nutritionals CryptoPlus can I take?

The bottle states 40 drops twice daily. Dr Richard Horowitz books states 1tsp (4.9ml) three times daily. I contacted Research Nutritionals, and they get this exact question a lot. They responded telling me, that you can double dose however it’s not recommended for a long period of time. I’ve been doing 70 drops three times daily due to severe babesia, however I’ve just started coming down to 40 drops three times daily and will reevaluate.

Dr Henry Linder discusses Artesunate for babesia?

Believe this was developed by Dr Zhang and is effectively a stronger pure version or Artemisinin. The product is called ARTE-M and is available for purchase by clicking here. Please read the Dr Henry Linder presentation on the Resources page which discusses this. Also see his YouTube videos where he fully discusses this.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?

A Lyme doctor states that this benefits 80% of patients, and negatively for 20%. I was the 20%. After taking, initially this gave me a huge boost, however as the 2nd, 3rd day progressed it escalated all my Lyme type symptoms, I obviously stopped. It took approx. 2 or 3 months for everything to calm down. In the UK you can get this via Dickson Chemist, it’s much cheaper than using a clinic who will add a service cost to it.

When should I treat EBV if I also have Lyme etc?

Lyme doctors recommend treating the core primary issues first, an if after 6 months of treatment there is no improvement, then perhaps consider 6 months of Valtrex 1,000mg three times daily. Interestingly related, I took acyclovir for shingles and this gave my immune system a massive boost to which I fully recovered for 3 months, and then went rapidly downhill. Perhaps I had EBV at the same time and it put at bay that and shingles.

Low Testosterone, should I take testosterone gel?

I had moderately low testosterone. I took testosterone gel, it has increased my levels by around 25%, however I’m not sure this has given me much benefit. Perhaps it helped with testicular pain. I take this just in case and after 6 months from now I’ll discontinue. I’d take a doctors advice on this, they generally only give this out not based on levels but on clinical symptoms. If you levels are low, that will be because of Lyme, if you have no obvious symptoms of low testosterone, probably not much point. When I started testosterone, or changed brands, I had moments of severe emotional distress and my vision changed to some kind of depersonalizaton episode. Everything has a risk and with everything going on with you, you have no idea of the implications of taking synthetic or prescription products. Meaning, keep things as simple as possible, just because you can take something, doesn’t mean you should.

Diet / Food?

Everyone with these problems has no choice but to have a zero sugar and low carb diet, ideally eating organic. Initially for me, one glass of apple juice would create severe problems for, presumably most have similar issues at various stages of this illness.

What helps with nerve recovery, such as small fibre neuropathy?

Meat, eggs, B12, magnesium, Omega 3, acetyl-l-carnitine, alpha lipoic acid, lions mane, curcumin, CoenzymeQ10, reduced glutathione. Slightly related, but Dr Rawls stated that his nerve twitching of his shoulder and arm was resolved by reduced glutathione. I take Research Nutritionals Tr-Fortiyy Glutathione because it for sure helps with energy levels.

Zinc / Copper balance

Everyone should validate their zinc and copper levels with Lyme etc. Seems extremely common for copper as example to be deficient or normally in excess. Neil Nathan states this can play a major role in the overall health challenges of this illness, and also that it greatly impacts testosterone levels.

I think I have guillian-barre syndrome?

Personally I think I had this to some degree, obviously hospital were useless. If you think you have this run a test for anti-ganglioside antibodies. Main symptoms are weakness or total paralysis of some limbs, worst case you lose breathing ability and are ventilated.

I think I have Lyme, but had a negative test, what should I do?

See the testing page and send your blood to Walter Tarello. This low cost broad based test will give you an indication on where to go. Obviously your insurance won’t support this test, however from that you can target high costs tests via armin labs or igenex reducing your overall testing costs. – Instead of running 10 different tests, you may then get away with 3. This is opinion not advice, but I’d encourage people to consider getting some Malarone and taking it regardless, that is a great diagnostic tool itself and will tell you if you’ve a parasite like malaria or babesia. I’m not sure the same is truly with doxycycline, but one could argue that taking doxycycline for 2 weeks, if you feel terrible or much better would be an indication you have Lyme also. Note, always take Malarone with a fatty meal else to atovoquone will not absorb making it pointless to take.

My armin tests were negative, what now?

Armin don’t test for all strains, iGeneX are better. If you think you’ve been bitten in NA, use iGeneX. Consider iGeneX or live blood analysis, or send your blood to Walter Tarello (see Testing page)

I’ve been diagnosed with ME, CFS?

I think these diagnosis are a scam and mean absolutely nothing, it’s like saying you have β€œarm pain syndrome”, it’s dumb. Walter Tarello’s research shows that around 80% of people he tests with this label have either bartonella or babesia. Those appear to cause the fatigue in people.

Night Sweats?

This has been my most problematic issue. I tried everything, mirtazapine (Remeron), every herb possible, nothing helped keep me asleep because I’d wake up in a pool of sweat, and my bedsheets would be stained a brownish – yellow color. It appears my core temperature issue has been temperature dysregulation, an inability for the body to just to changing temperate, causing the sweats. For this, I started sleeping with top/bottom pyjamas and it oddly really helps.

I’ve previously been diagnosed with MS, could it actually be Lyme?

Yes. People are misdiagnosed all the time with MS and ALS. These are a clinical diagnosis, which is an opinion only, not fact. If you ask 100 doctors if you have MS, not all will say MS. Remember, doctors are thick and they care more about their job than you.

I’m a doctor and I find your comments offensive

I don’t care. Fuck off.

Can you add a ratings system on this site to review good / bad doctors?

No because I’ll open myself up to legal liability, technically I’d like to. The system doesn’t like anyone who questions β€œthe science” and the UK particularly is difficult when it comes to free speech and the medical governing body here likes everyone to think they know better, they don’t know better because they’re thick.

I’ve been bitten by a tick, what do I do?

Keep the tick and get it tested. Visit your doctor or take doxycycline for 6 weeks. If your doctors refuse, travel abroad or find another way of getting doxycycline, it’s cheaper in the long run. Probably you’re reading this too late anyhow.
